What is a Vampire Facelift??
Performed by one of our LGBT-friendly professionals, a Vampire Facelift? combines platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy with select dermal fillers to give the client a more youthful appearance. During one part of the procedure, we will inject dermal fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that occurs naturally within the body, into the skin. The fillers will add volume to specific parts of the face and fill in wrinkles and lines.
The PRP is made from the patient?s own blood. We will draw about the same amount of blood used in a blood test. We will then put it in a centrifuge in order to separate out the platelets, which contain factors that stimulate the growth of both new blood vessels and collagen. The blood vessels will give the client a rosy complexion, while the collagen will make the skin more elastic, taut and youthful-looking.
